Bid Whist - Classic App Reviews

This game is nothing like a real card game. How can everyone pass and the dealer have to bid? Why does my partner always pass? I Like that it keeps stats but it needs more options--like changing the speed of the game. The only reason I will keep this is I cant find another bid Whist game for the IPad. If someone knows of one, help me out!

Needs more options. For example slow down the speed of the hands so I can see the cards that are played. Logic needs work. For example rarely when you are the dealer will everyone in front of you pass. It happens pretty much every time in this game. There is some strategy that needs work, like your partner figuring out what suit you are running in and coming back to it.

Tried to see how much the game has changed. Your alert still doesnt compare to looking down on the card table, where you can see and study the board over the entire time you are debating your bid. Partner still holds the winner and lets the other team win the book. I then played an obvious winner and my partner cut me and set us playing to the other team. Still can just set the computer all day. ...anyone who claims this is like the real thing lacks the skills to play the game... This doesnt look like a card game. It does play like the card game. You can pass every time and just set the computer. It will make you bid once in a while, that doesnt matter. Just continue passing again after. Disappointing computer play. Your partner sets you by holding winners. The computer gets set because it is always 4 suited. The only time a bid goes over 4 you will bid it. Great game reduced to shambles.

Bid whisk single play is fine but would love to see it online hd grafics

This is nothing like playing a real game. So disappointed in the bid process, the partner cutting you out on a winning book, you dont get credit for the actual books you make. No recognition for a Boston. I could go on and on.

The game is close but play is illogical. Too much computer control.

Too small. Game play is too fast. Confusing.

Does absolutely nothing for people trying to learn, need an app where you can bid at least 4 cards, also need to slow this game down, moves to fast, hard to keep up with what was played

Uninstalling game. My computer partner is sooooo stupid. If I take the bid the computer partner has been programmed to make me lose. The computer cuts me off rip if I play an ace and if I play a card in the opposite direction from the bid the computer will not play a joker when it has one or both of them.

Well out of the other bid whist games I think this is the best on iPhone. However I bid a 4 no trump took all 13 books which should have been game over but it just said your team won hand This needs to be corrected. Pop up is a good idea but needs some work. Keep striving for perfection.

Could be more challenging by making the opponents play better (I shouldnt have a 90% win rate). Like others have said, the cards are played too fast to keep track of who played what. Partner makes stupid mistakes, for example, not playing winners when it has the chance and pulling trumps when there is no need. There should be levels, so beginners and vets can both enjoy it.

This game is nothing like real game of bid whist. This app needs to be removed. I rate it a 0.

I play it on a regular basis. Sometimes my partners play confuses me, but I expect that with computers. The only change I would make is to allow for rotation of the game to horizontal.

When u run out of trump cards the game will not allow you to play...

I like this app but there I came across some very inappropriate ads. I couldnt recommend this for children just for that reason. I think the makers of this app should look at some of the advertisements.

1. Low should be able to take out high anyway in Bid Whist! 2. Why partner never gets bid? 3. If Im the only one that has trunks left in the suit (I) called, then how can you win a book in another suit and (its not) a no trunk bid? 4. If I bid a 4 low in spades and come out in king of spades, why is my partner holding the high joker in his hand? I became frustrated, deleted the app, because my partner was causing me to lose too many games, although we were holding a 87% win rate.

Please fix my little companion. I have an iPhone 5s, fyi. Was a 5 star app but now only 2 since it is almost useless!

My partner never bids; and when I bid, partner OFTEN plays against me. Scores are often not counted correctly.

Every game is a mirror image of the last game. Partner never bids other team bid a no I know as alway my partner has both jokers. No challenge when you know the outcome. Why does my partner and my opponent always cut the aces their partners play? Dont get it. Start of game my partner cuts my aces lucky its not a real person he will get cussed out big time. Are you guys working on this game?
